Introducing... Welcome To The Stage!— a home-brewed 10 minute gonzo-style documentary short movie about ‘making movies’ equips non-exclusively bipoc, disabled, “crip”, trans, and queer working-class performers, producers, and visual artists with the tools, knowledge, time, guidance, and fiscal support necessary for our communities to engage in authentic storytelling in Austin, TX.

Hii i recently revised my conceptual approach and rewote the pitch!! 🌟
*R&D for this project has been an enduring **labor of love** and was inspired by my time working across bars, clubs & underground spaces supporting queer-produced performances and productions from

Secret (key) Bank

Secret (key) Bank was a short-lived vacant commercial property occupation and renovation project from March - June 2018 at the former KeyBank on 70 Main St. in Winooski, VT.
In an effort to address the massive lack of available and accessible industrial studio space for working-artists and artist-run collectives, myself and a team of friends negotiated temporary tenancy in exchange for work-trade restoration as well as a means for Redstone, the commercial owners of the property, to mitigate vacancy fees while the 70 Main was in-between commercial tenants.
While we worked diligently to restore the space in support of establishing an emergent artist collective under the name "Sanctuary Studios" the space was bought out just as we finished renovations by a local micro-brewery who held property just down the street prior.
